Calendar/Trumba
Creating a Trumba component is very simple and straightforward.
- Create the calendar in Trumba. If you have question on how to do this, please refer to our Learning Management System.
- In Toolbox 2, click on Modules then Add New Module. Name the module “Calendar,“ uncheck the Can Have Entities box, and create from a Blank Module, then click Add Module.
- In the list of modules, click on the name of the module you just created, or on the Edit button on the right.
- Because you unchecked the Can Have Entities box, this will take you to the Components screen within the module. Click the blue Add New Component link.
- Name the component as the view of the calendar you will be adding. For example, we mostly use “Monthly View,” but on our home pages we will sometimes add an “Upcoming Events List” or “Date Finder.” Once you have named your component, click Save.
- This will bring you to the Edit view of the component. In trumba, grab the entire embed code for the calendar you are adding. For example, on a main calendar click on Publish > Calendar Spud > and grab the entire code in the gray box under Main Calendar Spud. Paste that into the Source code tab of the component and click Save Changes.
- Your calendar is now ready to be added to a page.
